Meet the team

Mrs Cairns

Mrs Cairns is our Assistant Headteacher as part of her leadership role she leads the Team Around the Child. She takes responsibility for the direction and organisation of the team enhancing their practice, to ensure that the highest level of pastoral care is provided to every child. Mrs Cairns has worked at the school for a number of years building relationships with children and families across the community, offering knowledge and support. She is passionate about nurturing the holistic child and strives
to ensure children feel safe, secure and happy.

Mrs Bashir

Mrs Bashir is our Parental Support Advisor. She works in partnership with families, parents, carers and
children to enable full access to educational opportunities. She has positive relationships with all families and offers emotional support and guidance. She has a big heart and a listening ear. She will provide a safe space for families to talk and is dedicated to ensuring families receive support that is available.

Miss Muthana

Miss Muthana is our wellbeing and nurture support. Over the years she has built-up positive relationships with all members of the school community. She has a big heart, a listening ear and strives to support the
wellbeing needs of all your children. Working alongside you as a parent she is dedicated in equipping your children with emotional support. She is committed to ensuring your children know they have a safe space to talk and an adult who will listen and guide them to understand their feelings.

Mrs Kaur

Mrs Kaur is our Digital Safeguarding Lead and also leads Computing across the school. Mrs Kaur has been able to gain a wealth of experience and is currently building on her knowledge and best practice in keeping children safe online. She is here to provide you with advice and support to safeguard your child’s welfare when using devices online at home with things such as parental settings and any other additional information you may require. Mrs Kaur is dedicated in equipping your children with the skills and knowledge to become a great digital citizen.
